Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and AfriFabric, a subsidiary of YiwSAMA Technologies, operating from Madina, Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana. By creating an account, browsing the marketplace or placing an order you agree to them.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. Designer accounts may be asked to complete verification, including business documents, before selling. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Marketplace role

AfriFabric is a marketplace. Products are listed, made and shipped by independent designers. AfriFabric facilitates listings, payments and support, and may charge plan fees and a commission shown on each order.

4. Orders and pricing

  • Prices are shown in the listed currency and include applicable taxes where stated.
  • An order is confirmed once payment is authorised by our payment processor.
  • Made-to-order pieces are produced to the measurements you submit; please check them before paying.
  • We may cancel and refund an order if an item is unavailable or pricing is incorrect.

5. Payments

Card and mobile money payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store full card details. Chargebacks and disputes are handled in line with the processor's rules.

6. Acceptable use

You may not list counterfeit or illegal goods, misrepresent origin or materials, scrape the platform, or attempt to disrupt its security or availability. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

7. Intellectual property

Designers retain rights in their product content and grant AfriFabric a licence to display and promote it. The AfriFabric name, logo and platform remain our property.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AfriFabric is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Ghanaian law.
